Overview

Course Description

This meeting is targeted at all clinicians and will cover a broad perspective including the patient perceptions about Ramadan, and the myths & facts about Ramadan, while creating an avenue to educate the HCPs on how to safely and successfully manage their different patients who would be fasting during Ramadan. The meeting will look at pre-Ramadan, Ramadan, and post-Ramadan periods.

The Speakers would use case studies to discuss recent evidence with SGLT2 inhibitors in the management of T2DM beyond glucose control, HF and CKD, while also focusing on the risks associated with fasting and prevention of complications that may arise. This meeting will give the HCPs an opportunity to broaden their knowledge in the management of Diabetic, HF and/or CKD patients during the Ramadan period.
