In this 3 part presentation, Dr Owoo, Dr Nicolau, and Prof. Torres, together explore the impact of gram-negative infections with particular emphasis on Ghana; review the use of Ceftazidime-Avibactam in difficult to treat infections; and present evidence based clinical review of Ceftazidime-Avibactam using clearly explained clinical trials.
1. To update participants on current challenges and impact of gram-negative infections in Sub-Saharan Africa (Ghana) and institute appropriate interventions
2. To equip participants with clinical and real-world evidence about new and innovative treatment options (Ceftazidime-Avibactam) in difficult-to-treat infections
