Prof. Sheena Lovia Boateng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), where she coordinates the Weekend MBA Marketing and MA Marketing Strategy programmes. She holds both her PhD and undergraduate degrees in Marketing from the University of Ghana and is recognised as the first female to earn a PhD in Marketing and the first female Professor of Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the institution.
Her research focuses on behavioural marketing, influencer marketing, artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship, educational technology, and gender and digital platforms. She has made significant scholarly contributions through internationally published research, book chapters, practical research workbooks, and innovative frameworks that advance marketing, technology-enabled learning, and entrepreneurship.
Prof. Boateng serves as an Associate Editor for Humanities and Social Sciences Communications (Springer Nature) and is a Fellow of the Academy of Marketing Science. Her research has been widely published in leading international journals and has received notable recognition for its impact and readership.
Beyond academia, she is the founder of the Women in Tertiary Education (WITE) Network, an initiative dedicated to supporting and empowering women in higher education. Her work continues to influence research, education, policy, and practice, with a strong commitment to innovation, inclusion, and ethical leadership.
