Pharm. Roger K. Ahiable is an experienced and results-driven pharmacist with a specialization in pediatric oncology pharmacy. He has a strong background in pharmaceutical care delivery, particularly in oncology, where he has provided expert services in chemotherapy reconstitution, medication management, and patient counseling. Roger’s expertise extends to the preparation of extemporaneous medicines and the provision of drug information to healthcare teams. His ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage resources in a resource-limited environment has earned him recognition for exceptional customer service and improved patient care outcomes.

Pharm. Roger has completed specialized training both locally and internationally, including observership programs at Tata Memorial Hospital and the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital, focusing on childhood cancer management. His commitment to professional development is further demonstrated by his active participation in conferences, workshops, and the training of other healthcare professionals. He has played a significant role in developing and implementing standard operating procedures for chemotherapy preparation and safe handling of cytotoxic medicines at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, where he currently works as a Senior Specialist Pharmacist in the Pediatric Oncology Unit.

In addition to his clinical work, Roger has been involved in several initiatives to enhance pediatric oncology care in Ghana and other African countries. He has contributed to the development of treatment guidelines for pediatric cancers and worked on incorporating childhood cancers into the National Health Insurance Scheme of Ghana. He has trained numerous pharmacy interns, students, and healthcare providers in chemotherapy preparation, adherence counseling, and the management of medication side effects.
