Frederick Amui Oblitey is a Private legal Practitioner with Anokye-Gyimah-Amui & Associates, Blitai Chambers, in Accra-Ghana. He specializes in; Energy Regulatory Law, Ethics Law and Professional Liability, litigation and legal representations in arbitration cases, performing corporate board secretarial duties, review/drafting of legal documentation, contracts and policies, technical/health and safety, etc. He is a trained Electrical/Electronic Engineer, Specializing in: Power Computer Control Systems

He is also an Insurance Survey Services and Disaster Management Specialist as well as a Professional Loss Adjusting Consultants, with present and continuing consulting work for major insurance companies in Ghana including Phoenix Insurance, Loyalty Insurance, ACTIVA Insurance, Quality Insurance, SIC Insurance, STAR Assurance, GLICO Insurance, SAHAM Insurance, ICA Liberia etc.

He is an adjunct lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science And Technology; Master Of Engineering Programme (MEng) where he teaches Professional Ethics and Engineering Law. At the Ghana Insurance College, he is an adjunct lecturer in the Advanced Diploma in Insurance Programme where he teaches Liability Insurances, Insurance Law, Business Interruption Insurance, Basic Pensions and The Law of Pensions

Mr Oblitey is a Member of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), a Corporate Member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers (M.Gh.I.E) where he is also a Member of the Professional Practice and Ethics Committee, he is a Certified Member of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (MCILA, UK), and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII, UK)
