Dr. Joshua Appiah Arthur BSc, MBChB, MSc, MGCPS

Joshua Arthur is a public health physician specialist and currently head of disease control and surveillance at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. He has served in many capacities as a public health physician including on numerous monitoring teams around the country. Since the advent of COVID-19 pandemic, he has led regional and facility-based efforts to draft protocols, train staff and give technical advice on the local management of the pandemic in KATH and in the Ashanti Region. He has extensive experience as a teacher and mentor, having served as a part-time lecturer at KNUST and as a facilitator on so many programs and seminars.

He enjoys having a good time with friends and family, cooking both local and continental dishes with a personal touch, listening to and discovering new music, travelling for adventure and taking on new challenges.
