Dr Ihab El Madhoun is a senior physician and nephrologist with extensive clinical, leadership, and administrative experience across the United Kingdom and Qatar. He currently leads the Medicine Division at Al Wakra Hospital, where he oversees multiple medical specialties and is responsible for strategic planning, resource management, quality assurance, and patient safety. His role involves coordinating multidisciplinary clinical services, supporting institutional policy development, and ensuring the delivery of high standards of care across the division.

In addition to his executive responsibilities, he remains actively involved in clinical practice as a consultant nephrologist and head of nephrology. He provides specialist care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including transplant follow-up and chronic kidney disease management.
