Dr. Hilarius Asiwome Kosi Abiwu is a medical doctor and public health professional in Ghana who leads the National Malaria Elimination Programme under the Ghana Health Service. He trained in medicine, earning an MBChB from the University of Ghana Medical School, then completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Ghana School of Public Health, and later an Executive MBA from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. In his current role, he oversees national malaria control and elimination strategies, policy implementation, and coordination with partners and health teams across the country to reduce malaria burden and support Ghana’s elimination goals.
