Dr. Clement Egyin Edusa is a distinguished Clinical and Radiation Oncologist with an illustrious career spanning leadership, clinical practice, research, and community service. Currently serving as the CEO and Clinical/Radiation Oncologist at the Sweden Ghana Medical Center (SGMC), he has made significant contributions to oncology care and management. Prior to this, he held pivotal roles at SGMC, including Medical Director and Head of Oncology, where he spearheaded advancements in cancer treatment protocols and departmental leadership.

His clinical expertise was honed at the National Center for Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, where he served as a Specialist Oncologist and completed a rigorous residency program in Clinical Oncology. An alumnus of the Russian Peoples’ Friendship University, he further specialized through an IAEA Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa, where he gained advanced insights into oncologic care.

Dr. Edusa’s contributions extend beyond clinical practice into impactful research and academic discourse. He has authored numerous publications in high-impact journals, including studies on radiotherapy planning, breast cancer management, and prostate cancer treatment. His work has been presented at esteemed international forums such as the DEGRO conference in Germany, the ESTRO Forum in Spain, and the African Radiation Oncology Group. These engagements underscore his commitment to advancing oncology through evidence-based practice and global collaboration.

A recipient of multiple awards, including the Best Worker Award at Korle-Bu’s Radiotherapy Department, Dr. Edusa is also an esteemed member of professional bodies such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the African Organization for Research and Training in Cancer (AORTIC). His leadership and influence are further evidenced by his role in cancer education and community initiatives, including medical outreach programs and educational engagements with cancer support groups.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Edusa serves as the Medical Director of Samalla Clinic Ltd, providing family practice services in Accra. He is deeply committed to enhancing healthcare access and improving cancer awareness through community-based interventions and medical presentations. His lifelong dedication to medicine, research, and leadership continues to make a profound impact on oncology care in Ghana and beyond.
