Dr. Ahmed Fathi Abdel-Baki El-Koraie is a Professor of Internal Medicine and Nephrology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Alexandria. He leads the Nephrology Unit within the Internal Medicine Department and also serves as the Head of the Nephrology Department at the Kidney and Urology Center. His career reflects extensive clinical, academic, and administrative contributions to nephrology, with a focus on kidney transplantation, dialysis, and medical education.

He has held various leadership roles, including Medical Director of the Internal Medicine Department at Alexandria Faculty of Medicine, and has been actively involved in establishing advanced critical care and hemodialysis facilities, creating training programs for young nephrologists, and organizing medical outreach initiatives across Africa and underserved communities in Egypt. Dr. El-Koraie is an accomplished researcher and educator, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and contributions to international conferences, workshops, and scientific collaborations. He is also a founding member of scientific networks and programs aimed at advancing nephrology practice and education.
