David Kihumba is a seasoned finance, controlling, and supply chain professional based in Kenya. With a career spanning over 10 years, he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to business performance management and his ability to excel in business partnering roles.
Currently, David serves as a Value Chain Manager at Novartis in the Global Health Unit. In this pivotal position, he is responsible for optimizing the value chain, and ensuring supply chain operations align seamlessly with the company's strategic objectives. His role involves strategic planning and analysis to enhance the efficiency of the supply chain across markets under Global Health as well as an end-to-end value chain overview of various products.
Before transitioning within Novartis, David held the role of Supply Chain Manager at Novartis in East Africa. In this capacity, he led the supply chain function playing a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the efficiency of logistics and distribution functions across the region. He was also a Business Planning Analysis Manager for the same market cluster supporting financial planning & performance management as well as financial business partnering with commercial teams.
