This meeting aims to train and equip healthcare professionals (HCP) like General Practitioners, Family Physicians, Physician Specialists and Pharmacists on the management of gastrointestinal (GI) conditions; particularly upper GI bleeds and Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) management. The objectives are:
- To educate HCP on the management of upper GI bleeds.
- To educate HCPs on the diagnosis and management of GERD.
- To educate HCPs on the challenges and unmet needs of patients during periods of fasting and how to address them
- To educate HCPs on the role of Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs) treatment in managing GERD and GI bleeds
