We are thrilled to announce and invite you to this momentous occasion, meticulously designed for the esteemed graduates of Medicine and Dentistry who have successfully completed the prescribed and approved academic and practical training during their Housemanship. These dedicated individuals, in pursuit of their noble calling, have demonstrated their commitment by passing the rigorous Licensure Examinations conducted by the Medical and Dental Council (MDC) of Ghana. Consequently, they have not only met but have exceeded the requisite training standards to practice as distinguished Medical Doctors and Dentists in Ghana.
Our distinguished inductees for this ceremony hail from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Medical Sciences (KNUST - SMS), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Dental School (KNUST - DS), University of Cape Coast School of Medicine (UCC - SM), University for Development Studies - School of Medical Health Sciences (UDS - SMHS), University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) - School of Medicine (SoM), as well as foreign-trained doctors and dentists who have, through dedication and determination, successfully undertaken and passed the Council's professional qualifying examinations. In a cherished tradition, they will all partake in the solemn swearing of the Hippocratic Oath, marking a significant milestone in their careers.
This year's grand event is scheduled to be held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC). With immense pride, we are pleased to welcome a total of five hundred and one (501) accomplished inductees. In a nod to the rapidly evolving times, the proceedings will also be broadcast live on this very platform. Additionally, this momentous occasion will be available for viewing on both the Facebook and YouTube portals of the MDC, ensuring that even our virtual attendees, which include the families, guardians, and the wider public, can share in this celebratory moment.
We are deeply honoured to announce that the distinguished guest of honor for this event is none other than the Honorable Minister of Health Designate, Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye. His presence adds an extra layer of distinction to an already exceptional gathering.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the accomplished graduates and our sincere gratitude to all attendees, both in person and virtually, who will be part of this celebration. It is with great joy and anticipation that we look forward to this upcoming event.
