Summary

International Childhood Cancer Day is a global collaborative campaign to raise awareness about childhood cancer, and to express support for children and adolescents with cancer, the survivors, and their families. It is commemorated every 15th of February.

The 2021 ICCD campaign theme is: #throughourhands, Focus is on giving tribute to the children and adolescents with cancer, their bravery, their courage, and their resiliency; we also recognize the mark their lives have on the world and how they shape our shared future.

According to WHO, Health care professionals of multiple disciplines are required for cancer management. Without them technology cannot be effectively used for management of childhood cancers and the late diagnostic and treatment of patients will cause poor treatment outcomes. A multidisciplinary team of human resource for health is needed to support universal health coverage to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal 3 and to reach every child with childhood cancer.

This conference will bring together individuals from across the world who all share a common interest of advancing childhood cancer care. There will be a delivery of insightful presentations from carefully selected speakers to attendees and audience within the physical venue and streamed online across the world.
